Postpartum Support

  • I will provide you and your baby with morning, day, evening, or overnight care and will create a schedule based on your specific needs.

  • During our time together we will learn the basics of newborn care and breastfeeding. I will also teach you helpful skills such as pumping, milk storage, sanitizing, baby wearing, and infant massage.

  • I will cook nutritious and fresh postpartum meals and bake a variety of lactation cookies, brownies, small bites, and muffins.

  • I can reassure and guide you when you have a question about the baby’s appearance or behavior, breastfeeding, or your own recovery.  Knowing I’m there for you, will let you enjoy the experience of new motherhood.

  • It is never too early or too late to hire a postpartum doula. I specialize in the first 12 weeks after birth, the Fourth Trimester.

Postpartum doula support can have a long-lasting effect on the family.  You will have increased confidence in your new roles, greater satisfaction in breastfeeding, and a lower risk of postpartum depression.
